    Ah, Nature’s Revenge. Classic.

Also, this is only the second time I’ve heard of “Guts”. The first time was when Syn (ex-girlfriend) and I were sitting in the theater, waiting for the new Resident Evil movie to start. Some talkative asshole behind me was killing time pushing his abnormally long legs into the back of my seat, I can only assume to ensure that he had my full attention, while at the same time regaling the woman that was with him about his favorite stories. He mentioned “Guts” and that he’d seen Palahniuk do a live reading of it and someone in the crowd had actually thrown up hearing it. I have to admit, it piqued my curiosity.

Oh! Just about to submit the comment, then a quick pre-post scroll-through brought two little things to mind.

    1) Did you ever end up reading any of Robert Bloch’s Mythos stories? I know I had the “Mysteries of the Worm” collection after Kristi and I were together, but I can’t remember if you ever got to borrow it. I always thought he was actually a better writer than Lovecraft, even if he didn’t originate the mythos.

    2) re: Spawn: Have you ever seen this? http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/5/5/
