Nothing new
It’s been a slow week for writing around here. It seems to be a common theme and it has also prevented me from setting any REAL goals for myself. The only thing that has really changed is that Broken Skies is done, barring a final edit of the last 60 pages or so. Also, I have a neat little short story brewing in my head that is trying to convince me that it wants to be a novella instead.
As for not setting goals for myself as of late, it has motivated me to start participating in the WIP Wednesday that many of my visitors seem to be blogging about on Wednesdays. It seems similar to an AA meeting, what with the motivation and cries for accountability. I’ll start participating in that next week (WIP, that is,…not AA).
I am also working with Library of Horror on the cover to Debris. As a fan of minimalist art, I am hoping that my initial sketch for the cover works. So far, all signs are positive and I hope to be able to reveal the cover art sometime in the coming weeks.

Woot! Looking forward to Wednesday – it really does work at a motivator. She says while playing on the internet.

WIP Wednesdays gives you a nice summation of a current project. (and a free post topic once a week!)

I am with Aaron. It is free weekly topic. Kind of like what I had for dinner last night.

Oooh I’ll look forward to the cover, then. But yes, I do think of WIP Weds very much like an AA meeting. That’s an excellent way to put it.
